Configurable Youtube-play limits

Post by aceOverKings »

One day with youtube-play setup and I can already see a problem. Not sure how to solve it, but I have a couple ideas.

First a config setting that would limit how many one user could play a day, or a wait setting between requests.

Also, seems like you can use the URL of a youtube playlist and it will create a giant mp3 and play it. I'll have to turn it off if someone could request MTV's top 100 songs of 1992.

Maybe a size limiter on the file?

Anything would help, I do like the flexibility of it all. Just can (and will) in my case run amok.

Thanks, Indy.

You shouldn't have people with permission to use the command who you can't trust not to mess around, the +a flag required for it is for trusted DJs not the general public.

Currently if you do a playlist it will only play one item on the playlist, not the whole playlist or anything like that.
