request on networks where DJ isn't there

Post by Nolan »

I've noticed that when someone does !request on a network that a DJ isn't on, it doesn't send a request. Is there a way for you to make it so the bot checks the other networks it's on for the nickname used for reqlogin, and take the requests from the network the DJ not logged on, and deliver them to the appropriate nick on the network where the DJ is logged in?

I have the bot on 4 networks and I dont feel the need to have the DJs join 4 networks to receive requests from all of them.

I'm not sure if it doesn't currently do this or not... it may be a bug. I'm not sure.

Yep, it's done this from the beginning. You can request from any network, WebRequest, DJ Client, etc., and it will forward it to the live DJ wherever they logged in from.

The only thing I can imagine might cause the DJ to not receive the request would be if they changed their nick after they did a !reqlogin or something like that.
You can also contact me via email or instant messenger, links are at the bottom of this post.
