Is there any way to have two mount points in the bot so it still works while the server side auto DJ is on?

Still getting the hang of the bot but, love it so far :)

Assuming you mean icecast, what you would probably want to do is make a mountpoint just for the bot (or just for the server side DJ) and make it the fallback for your main mountpoint. That way when people tune in if a DJ isn't on it will fallback to whichever Auto DJ you have on the fallback.

sorry so thick with this. Fallback point?

With the radio server which is as you suspected Iceast, I have the mountpoint of /live for when a DJ is on air, when the DJ is off air, Icecast starts the playout with a mountpoint of /autodj so, where would I enter this in the bot to make it work while the server is on auto?

Many thanks, I am learning, slowly so I will be able to help others and pay back for being annoying soon :)

In your icecast config for the /live mountpoint, add this:

<fallback-mount>/autodj</fallback-mount>
<fallback-override>1</fallback-override>
<fallback-when-full>1</fallback-when-full>

As I am using an on-line Icecast hosting server I take it I switch to a /live broadcast, go to admin and then click on Update Metadata and enter what you put there? I don't see any other way of doing it. :/

I am trying lol.

BTW thank you for your really fast answers! Brilliant. :)

I don't know if it would be in the metadata or not, do they give you access to your icecast configuration file (icecast.xml or icecast.conf or whatever they named it)?

If they don't they may provide the option or you can ask them to add it for you.
