twitter plugin remove white spaces from artist

remove the white spaces in song titles, eg the long name band - the song to #thelongnameband for the twitter feed and better tagging, as it will only curently tah the first word. I'm sure it can be done with some sort of explode() in PHP, is the source for twitter plugin available?
