Live Scrobbling for Last.FM
Currently the bot only scrobbles at the end of a song - an option to have "live" scrobbling for compatibility with people's IRC commands and other things would be cool.

It could probably take commands and reply via shouts, but as for actual scrobbling they have a lot of rules you have to follow or they'll ban the bot from the API.

What kind of rules that would get it a ban? Would this be something better suited to the actual broadcasting software?

For actual scrobbling, it has to be actual songs over 30 seconds in length. And you have to have played at least 2/3rds of it before doing the scrobble, etc. There is probably a list of the rules on the API section of their site.
For the shoutboxes interactivity should be fine though.

Re: Live Scrobbling for Last.FM
Is there a way to detect that then so it can use the now playing feature rather than "is not listening to anything right now"?
